The trick to finally use that blazer that we just can’t wear because we don’t find the right opportunity is the following. We can modify the interior or the rever. We just need to find a fun fabric that has colors that go nicely with the jacket. It can also be plain and bright, the possibilities are endless. Certainly it would be better to choose a smooth fabric, so as not to make it more difficult to put on your arms. Once chosen we can deliver it to a seamstress together with our jacket. She will be the one to change the inner part for a certainly lower amount than what is necessary to buy a new blazer.
A simpler alternative is to pull a colorful handkerchief around the neck or pin fun pins on the lapel. No flowers with pearls, but brooches with more modern references. As inspiration we can always turn to crafts and DIY.
